Tree paintings are always a great way for this artist to relax. After my morning walk in the park, I found myself in an unusually "scrappy" mood. Funny how that extra energy can find it's way into my painting. This interesting group of tree shapes can be found along side the old gymnasium building in Balboa Park. This piece is painted on pastel board and measures 11" x 14". It is offered here fully framed in a coordinating dark wood frame, ready to hang and enjoy. Buy it Now price: $295 + $40 to ship anywhere in the continental U.S. Thanks for looking.

Painting a Day "Back Road to Carmel"
While browsing through old vacation photos, I happed upon this scene. It holds fond memories of a summer trip through the back roads of Central California, enroute to Carmel. I really can't remember the actual name of the road. This piece measures 12" x 16" and is painted in soft pastel on sanded pastel board. Framed and ready to hang and enjoy, it is offered at the Buy it Now price of $350 + $40 shipped to anywhere in the continental U.S. Updated 12/20/10: Sold!

Painting a Day "The Coastal Path"
I'm always inspired by a walk with nature. Springing forth from my imagination after exploring along the bluffs at Torrey Pines State Park, this painting adventure resulted in a real gem. I began working on this painting back in July of 2008, and it was one of those pieces that eluded completion. This painting would stare at me from the shelf each time I entered my studio, and somehow I didn't have the courage to complete it. That may sound strange if you're not an artist, but sometimes things just go that way. I was always afraid I would "mess it up." Well, anyway, it's finished...and I'm quite pleased. This piece is a whopping 18" x 24", which is large by typical pastel standards. It is offered here in a coordinating wood frame, ready to hang. Buy it Now price: $675. Note: This piece will not ship, available for local (San Diego) pick up or delivery only.Updated 7/15/10: Sold...to a new local collector.
