Daily Painters "Botanica"

I'm often asked where I get the inspiration for my paintings. Mostly they are everyday scenes that strike me as unusually graphic in their design, or scenes that make me smile. While strolling through Laguna Beach one morning, this whimsical scene caught my eye. The brightly colored "Kangaroo Paw" plant against this "wonky" brick wall was one of those "That's a Painting" moments.

Painted in soft pastel on sandpaper, this piece measures 12" x 16" and is framed in wide, dark wood with UV/Non-glare museum glass. Ready to hang and enjoy. Buy it now price: $350 + $40 to ship anywhere in the continental U.S. Updated 11/12/10: Sold...to a new collector in San Diego!
