Daily Painters "Borrego Wash"

Another image from my recent car club adventure to Borrego Springs, the wild palm trees along a sandy wash in the foothills of the Borrego Desert are the inspiration for this piece. A fast moving rain storm made the colors of the sky and clouds a spectacular site.

Painted in soft pastel on sandpaper, this piece measures 12" x 16" and is framed in dark wood with UV/Non-glare museum glass. $350.00, available for local (San Diego) pick up, or + $40 to ship anywhere in the continental U.S. or Canada. Updated 2/10/11: Sold...to a local gentleman for his sweetheart!
