"The Flock"
Soft Pastel on Sandpaper
12" x 16" |
Birds of Paradise are always fun to paint. Upon closer inspection, they really exhibit a very odd color combination. Brilliant pink, burnt orange, purple/blue, bright yellow/orange... and an almost prehistoric looking design. They grow like weeds here in San Diego!
"The Flock" is offered framed in wide dark wood with UV/non-glare museum glass, ready to hang and enjoy. $365 + $30 to ship anywhere in the continental US or Canada.
Updated 12/9/13: Sold...to a new local collector!

What an interesting style you have! How does this technique work?
You may find it interesting to learn about Wu Xing Style of Chinese Painting in Russia, which I write about. Thanks!
