"Scenic Mission Trails"

My blogging of new art has been rather quiet lately, but for good reason. I have been working on, and recently completed several commission pieces. "Scenic Mission Trails" is now hanging proudly in the lobby area of a La Mesa dental office. So what is a "commission" you ask? Well, this particular piece was ordered by an interior designer and painted to coordinate with exact color and subject matter specifications. I met with the designer, and the doctor and his wife, to discuss all of the elements that they wanted in the painting, along with the exact wall, flooring and upholstery colors that would be used. It is a fun and painless procedure, and many times easier than traveling from gallery to gallery trying to find just the right fit. Have you been searching for that "just right" painting?
