Daily Painters "Borrego Canyon Palms"

While touring in a recent car club adventure to Borrego Springs, the wild palm trees that spring from the canyons and crevices in the foothills of the Borrego Desert are the inspiration for this piece. The colors of the distant mountains are every bit a painters dream. I am frequently asked if I paint desert scenes, local scenes and beach scenes. So for you desert lovers out there, this one is for you.

Painted in soft pastel on sandpaper, this piece measures 12" x 16" and is framed in dark wood with UV/Non-glare museum glass. $350.00, available for local (San Diego) pick up, or + $40 to ship anywhere in the continental U.S. or Canada.  Updated 12/11/10: Sold to a local San Diegan as a gift.
