Things are busy and heating up, not only outside, but in the studio as well. I've been preparing canvases and pastel papers all week, to begin new work for the upcoming ArtWalk NTC at Liberty Station, the weekend of August 13 & 14. I will once again be showing in a double booth with my sweetie and his wonderful photography. You can get a sneak peek of his work here.

We will also be tempting art lovers at an Artwalk NTC "Preview Show" on July 30th from 10am-3pm at Grossmont Center Mall in La Mesa, grab a latte and stop by. Later that same evening, we will be hosting an "Open Studio" and reception for "Local Inspiration" the newest show at Art on 30th from 6-8pm. I had the pleasure of being selected "juror" of this show, and it promises to be a fun one! The art will be ready...join us!

"Torrey Tango" is painted in soft pastel on sandpaper, offered framed in a dark brown wood, plein air style frame with UV/non-glare museum glass, ready to hang and enjoy.
