"Be Mine Valentine"

"Be Mine Valentine"

This is one of my favorite times of the year in the studio. All things are fresh and new with the new year, the birds are singing again, and the flowers are beginning to make an appearance...at least that's how things are happening here in San Diego. I'm busily preparing for a new "Four Artist" show opening next Saturday night at my gallery, Adelman Fine Art, and I'm also busily preparing new floral paintings for the upcoming "Flora & Fauna" show that opens in March. I will once again be showing my work in a booth at Mission Federal ArtWalk in April, so things are starting to move quickly in the studio. This piece is modeled after one of my favorite still-life photos, and I have painted it several times in several different ways. It was taken from a bunch of birthday flowers the receptionist at my dentists office received. Inspiration is everywhere!

"Be Mine Valentine" is painted in oil using the cheery colors of spring. It is on gallery wrapped canvas, sides painted black, ready to hang and enjoy. You can purchase through Adelman Fine Art by clicking here.
