Daily Painters "Summer Oaks"

It's a perfect day for another oak tree painting. With just the slightest hint of Spring in the air, I can't wait until it's time to hit the trails again. Sometimes I'll paint trails and trees for a while, and sometimes I get going on other things. This weekend I'll be attending a much anticipated yearly show of all things "vintage auto." I'm sure my hubby will come home with lots of new goodies to jump start those automotive still life paintings... we'll just have to see.

This piece is painted in soft pastel on sandpaper, and measures 12" x 16". It is framed in wide dark wood with UV/Non-glare museum glass, ready to hang and enjoy. Buy it now price: $350 + $40 to ship anywhere in the continental U.S. and Canada. Thanks for looking :) Updated 4/14/11: Sold...to a new collector in Reno, Nevada!

We have oak trees everywhere you look where I live. I bet you would have a field day! (Literally!) This one is really beautiful.

Thank you Libby, I've always loved oak trees...you're lucky to have them close by.
